FAQ

What is in the Archive?

The Archive is a unique collection of archival material - papers, photographs and moving images - that documents and records the socially engaged, activist and collaborative arts practice traced and developed by CityArts since 1973.

The Archive provides a fascinating insight into cultural life in Dublin from the early 1970's onwards.

What plans are there for the future development of The Archive?

As a result of a grant from the Heritage Council in 2008, plans are advancing for the cataloguing and re-housing of The Archive's photographic collection. Much of this will be available on-line in late 2009.
