REEL YOUTH 2009 used the theme of identity for the fourteen short films this year. The shorts were premiered to a full house at The Axis in Ballymun on the 26th of September. Young DJ's from Ballybough played music for the event and Jenny Kavanagh (Cleo in Fair City) spent the day with the young people and gave great encouragement to the young filmmakers for their future endeavours.
